PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

       Benewah Area Transit (BAT) & Lost River Transit Buses offer          quality public transportation to the elderly handicapped and        persons with disabilities as well as the general public.

Local transportation as well as to near by larger cities for medical appointments, hospitals for services and mental  health appointments may be approved through Medicaid to eligible recipients.

Benewah Area Transport

BAT- Benewah Area Transit is a public transportation agency providing services to the residents in our care facility as well as residents in Benewah County and the lower parts of Shoshone and Kootenai counties. We provide transportation to Spokane, Moscow, Coeur d'Alene and Plummer by prearranged appointments.

Service is available Monday - Friday (except holidays)   

8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Lost River Area Transit

Lost River is a public transportation agency available to residents     of Lost River Valley, Custer and Butte counties. Offering services      to the elderly and disabled.

Service is available Monday - Friday (except holidays)

8:00 am to 5:00 pm
